Publications and Presentations
Rich's sole-authored text on applying project management principles to the production process, Project Planning for the Stage: Tools and Techniques for Managing Extraordinary Productions, is currently in press with Southern Illinois University Press. The publisher expects to release the book in November 2018.
After consulting on multiple chapters of the seventh edition of Theatrical Design and Production with Michael Gillette, Rich was invited as co-author on the eighth edition, currently in press with McGraw-Hill, due out in the next year.
Also due out this year is New Directions in Teaching Theatre Arts, edited by Anne Fliotsos and Gail Medford, for which Rich contributed a chapter examining his application of studio and lecture pedagogies in the design of a course on show networks and control systems design.
